PROJECT ENGINEER

Acheron has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to work on a wide range of challenging civil engineering projects throughout Maine. Successful candidates will have a B.S. degree and 3 to 5 years of project experience with civil design including site drainage, roadways, utilities, and treatment processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have demonstrated ability to take projects from design through implementation.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Acheron has a need for an experienced Engineering Technician to provide design and field assistance to our Engineering Division. Responsibilities will include conducting site surveys, engineering designs, and project inspections under the direct supervision of Project Engineers. Successful candidates will have a 2-year degree in engineering technology and 3 to 5 years of project experience. 40 hour OSHA Hazmat certification and experience with AutoCad and civil engineering design software are desired. Some in-state travel will be required.
